Hi, nice to see you here! I'm a self-taught photographer from Norway. I love photography!

I grew up by the sea and in the mountains. Since I was a little boy I've been hiking, skiing and climbing. The mountains are a place for me to relax and connect with nature.

 

I've always been inspired by nature. As I grew up I started bringing a camera for fun, and soon figured out that I loved capturing the amazing moments I had outside.

 

I'm based in Lofoten, the place of high mountains diving straight into the ocean. The place where you can get all kinds of weather in 15 minutes. I worship this place, and I also love capturing its beauty. My obsession with photography started with the Northern Lights; the first time I saw it, I fell in love with the magical green light dancing in the night sky.

To take the perfect shot you have to be out there! Sometimes you'll not have a single good shot on a trip, but don't let that ruin the experience. For me as a photographer, it's important to be able to be in the moment, not having all the focus on the shot. So when I do take the shot I capture more than a photo, I capture my feeling of being there. When I present my photos I try to present the feelings of the moment.
